shown outside Wales

It is in preparation for independence, no BBC for them then, it will
disappear, just like the . ;-)

Trick question. Pobl y Cwm isn't on BBC Wales. :)

No chance. This is quality TV:-)

The underwater cameraman I've known since he was the pesky teenager
next door; he also filmed for the Blue Planet and is a worldfamous
wildlife cameraman.

I suspect some of the underwater sequence was shot off Arran because two
others in the production team, are local divers. It was a wonderful
showcase for Scottish west-coast wildlife and landscape but we found
the anthropomorphism of the voiceover a bit Disneyish.
Looking forward to the machair wildflowers in the next episode.

Janet, Isle of Arran.

I am entertained by the surprise, could that be an underlying
assumption that BBC Scotland is some minor backwoods outpost of the
"real" BBC ? :-)

Pacific Quay is purpose built and state of the art; one of the
largest and most sophisticated digital/HD production centres in Europe.

Back in the 1960s I caught the Loch Seaforth in Mallaig and spent the
storm in the bar. I think there was more beer on the deck than inside
the passengers.
