squares but the formatting is odd, particularly the text copied from other
people's posts. I'm sure it's nothing to do with the home-brew I was drinking,
maybe it's the head-cold I seem to have developed after fishing Steve's match
on Saturday!! On the other hand, I've got 3 teenage kids and what they do with
the computer, I haven't a clue (they seem to download some pretty weird
e-mails). I re-booted this morning so I hope it's all back to normal now,
otherwise I'm going to have to start messing around, which usually makes
everything much worse :-(( TL - leon

If it helps, it still looks the same at this end (all run together with
little squares where the leading spaces for a sentence should be). Is your
newsreader set to send Plain Text. If you are using MS News or similar,
check the Poroperties. "Send" should read "Plain Text" (as far as I can
tell you're not using HTML). "Plain Text" should (probably) use "Uuencode"
rather than MIME. Under "Fonts" check you are using "Western European".

Reminds me of the teo fishermen talking at the bar.
"So, what's happening?"
"Nothing much, except I got a top class baitcaster rod/reel combo for my
wife."
"Good deal..."

Hi All,

I've emailed the folks at AOL and they have replied:-

<snip>

There does seem to be a small problem at the moment. This will be being worked
on and there is nothing that you can do for now but wait until we have
determined the root of the problem and can then provide you with instructions
as to what you need to do. It may turn out to be something that it beyond your
control and be fixed at our end.

<snip>

In the meantime, I hope you can at least make out what I'm saying.

Text looks fine now. If it helps, I'm on several ngs with AOL posters, and
I've never seen text like yours from them.
