Tamworth Lace Group are exhibiting lace (bobbin, tatting, needle,
tambour and I think crochet) made by members of the group in the Central
Library, Tamworth, Staffs from Wednesday 3rd - Saturday 13th June -
library hours are 9.30 am to 5.30 pm Tuesday and Friday, 9.30 to 1.00
Wednesday and Saturday and 9.30 to 7.00 Monday and Thursday.
There will be demonstrations of bobbin lace on Saturday 6th (9.30-1.00)
and Friday 12th June (10.30-3.30). (I plan to have some tatting and
needlelace with me as well, in case anyone wants to see how those are
made.)
Do drop in and have a look if you have a chance (there is no admission
charge!) - there are other things in the town to see including a fine
Norman castle.
