Don't normally report raffle type draws but after many years of paying into
Matlock Town FC's weekly draw and never winning more than £5, I won £100
today!

Guess what!!!

"Thank you for entering our recent Oil Portrait by Simon Butler competition.
We would like to offer you a runner-up prize of a Ł100 voucher towards a
Simon Butler portrait, to be redeemed at Canvas&Oil Portraits."

That's the 3rd comp that i've won with them,

it's a pity that there prizes are totally useless, they remind me of the
scratchcards where you are guaranteed to win but it cost's more to redeem
the prize than it's actually worth

(Not convinced that have "won").

Dear Horse & Hound reader,

We have the pleasure in informing you that you have won one of the " 10

Butler portrait!
of your horse, yourself, a loved one, a pet, or simply that favourite photo
that you always wanted to be
made into a beautiful oil painting, All you need to do is to send us your
order together with your photograph,
or if on line you may email us your photograph ! If you have Internet

by, as it is not every day that you
get the chance to commission your very own HORSE or family portrait !

Oil portraits have been commissioned for many hundreds of years and make an
ideal gift for you or your
loved one, and make a perfect investment for you and your family, something
to cherish and pass onto
future generations as a family heirloom !When sending us your order or
calling us a bout your requirement
PLEASE QUOTE: H&H1571 as this validates the voucher .

We look forward to seeing your photo or receiving your telephone call so
that we can take that next
step in your owning your very own Simon Butler oil portrait !

Since graduating in 1988, Simon has been painting mainly portraits ever
since and has received
commissions for his paintings from all over the world. Specialising in oil
on canvas, his realistic
approach has been appreciated by many, including his contemporaries
