Yes. We got woken by the windows rattling and a horrible thudding.

Now I don't want to go back to sleep :o(

Felt it here in Coventry. My wife thinks I'm mad as I woke her up to tell
her about it!

Yes - woke my husband and me up in Telford. The cheeky s*d said 'did you
just turn over?'

My hubby accused me of messing with the washing machine LOL. Our dog
frightened me almost as much as the tremor here in Worcester. she barked so
deeply that I shot up of my chair, banged me knees on the compie desk, the
tea slopped over the cup and all me ornaments went for a *walkies* along the
shelves and glass cabinet.
I think I have just about calmed down now and am going to try for a bit of
sleep. Regards ConnieD

I felt it here, in Llanelli, at 12.55am. I felt my armchair tremble for about 5 seconds, had a good idea what it was, looked at the clock and was waiting for this mornings news for confirmation.

We felt this at 12.57 am
it shook the house
all the doors and windows were rattling and we were watching
the television at the time.mind I do live in Birmingham and they
have said on the radio that the epicentre was in Dudley.
but at least now we dont have to pick the apples off the tree.

So there I was, looking through uk.rec.competitions, when who should I
come across but Steve Frazer ...

didn't feel it (also in Coventry), although I did wake up suddenly at
five to one, so I suppose it woke me up without me knowing.

was handy, managed to get two hours winathon entries in before going
back to sleep :)

We live about three miles from Dudley. The whole house shook but
surprisingly didn't wake any of the kids up. Power went off in Oldbury for
about 20 mins but not here thankfully
