produced in September 2003 by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, entries are invited NOW either by schools or by individuals, to a nationwide schools art competition. Entrants should be between 8-16 years of age and the work should be on the theme of "Wildlife Matters".
There will be three age categories within the competition and all entries will cost £1.
The entries can be in any artistic medium and should be sent to the DSWF offices by 7th May 2004. Photographs of sculptures are acceptable.
After judging by David Shepherd, the top fifty entries in each category will be displayed at the Natural History Museum on Tuesday, 15th June. Superb prizes will be presented by a celebrity panel at a ceremony due to start at 2.00 pm. All entrants are invited to attend and schools are encouraged to bring their pupils on a fun day out, which can include a trip around the Museum as well as visiting the exhibition and attending the prize-giving ceremony.
