WINDOR AND NEWTON WORLWIDE MILLENINUM PAINTING COMPETITION

2nd prize: 5,000 ukp
3rd prize: 2,500 ukp
9 runners up: 1,000ukp

The competition is open to all artists and covers the following media:
Water colour,oil colour (Traditional,Alkyd and Water
mixable),Acrylic,Gouache and pastels.
The theme for the competition is 'My Country in the year 2000'
Artists are free to interpret this theme in a way that suits their
specific technique be it landscape,seascape,abstract,still life or
figurative.
Each entrant will recieve a free calendar featuring the work of the 12
overall winners along with all winning entries received from around the
world in December 1999.
