For the film afficionado who has almost everything --
the original oil portrait of Bette Davis as it appeared in
the 1944 motion picture "Mr. Skeffington".
Jack Warner offered to buy the portrait from Bette Davis
for ten thousand dollars.
Bette Davis gave the portrait to Perc Westmore as a
momento. Perc Westmore was head of make up at Warner
Brothers. The portrait of Bette Davis for many years was on
display at the House of Westmore on Sunset Blvd., the epicenter
of Hollywood glamour. Robert Leslie Hickman inherited the portrait
from his mothe, Ola Carrol, Mrs. Perc Westmore, Perc's step son.
The portrait of Bette Davis can be viewed by serious buyer only.
