All I know about him is what I've seen on a video of the Lakeland
Rock tv programme when he climbed with Chris Bonnington and that
an oriental woman who is likely to have been his wife was a
tremendous gardener !

Contact this gallery and try & get in touch with his widow. I'm
certain she would want to see them and, depending on how they
reached you, may well be the legal owner anyway. If the gallery
fail you, once you have her name, try Japanese embassy for best
method of tracing her (sorry, don't have the details here but
it's in Whittaker's Almanack).

It's a long shot, but you could try contacting the Birkett family, in the
Lakes. Bill Birkett is a guidebook contributor and author of many
Lakeland walking/climbing books and as such, the Climber's Club, or his
publisher should be able to put you in touch with him. I seem to
remember from one of his books that he used to climb with Peascod, who
was a close friend of his father's, when he (Birkett) was a youngster.
They may well know how you can contact Mrs Peascod. They will
undoubtedly be able to give you information about Bill Peascod, and may
be able to help identify some photos or fill in background details etc.
It would be fascinating to hear how you get on: I'd love to see the
photos, too!!
Hope this helps
Regards
Vicki
