VW Engine Codes (very helpful )

hope it can help some people out. I know, i found it hard finding out the
abbreviations over the yrs with my VW's.

I'm pretty sure that the engine code for the 1.7sdi is AKU, I'll check
in the morning, too late and dark to have a look now.

Not very accurate it lists the PY engine as turbocharged.

And the 1H (1763cc Rallye) and PG (1781cc G60) are also listed as
turbocharged.

Useful link Nic. It does list the Polo (and Jetta) MH as 1.3 litres, so looks
like that's why essexgirl's Boulevard can take on a Coupe S (well, it's then
just down to spirited driving style!).
