Now is the time to give your Gipsy Caravan Cover some much needed
"Maintenance"
Traditional Canvas needs to be re-waterproofed at least once per year
or it will start to look sad.
First remove all the sap which sometimes gets into the fabric if
you've parked under tree's. Remove all bird mess especially Herring
Gull droppings which can be acidic. Make sure the Canvas is 100% dry
and then apply a liberal covering of Fabsil - available from most
outdoor shops. Badly faded covers may need several coats.
Given this treatment on a regular basis - your cover will continue to
look good for years to come.
