Well a lot of Senior travellers travel without cover just because companies
have age limits.
Also the Health part when you do have it has so many exclusions,
pre-existing conditions and if you taking medication etc. one sometimes
wonders if any cover left.
My self I found at 65 they doubled the premium then at 70 they no longer
give cover, but I did find one company willing to give cover until we are
79.
If we still travelling abroad at 80 I suppose we will have to take a risk on
Health insurance.
We do restrict our travel to within Europe so take our Recipical EU
Agreement plastic card for health cover that a resident of the particular
country would get. Used it in Spain twice and got better care on their NHS
than at home, at no charge in that country.
