Buzzard or Hen Harrier?

Seen flying over Inner Marsh Farm reserve (Cheshire) on Sunday. Half
the people in the hide said 'ringtail Hen Harrier' and the rest said
'no - just a Buzzard with a white patch on its tail'. What do you
think? Hen Harriers are seen there regularly.

As Malcolm already said, this is a Buzzard. More than a few raptor
species exhibit a white patch, but the Hen Harrier's is noteable for
appearing more like a white beacon even when seen at distance.
