Hi all, I'm looking for the instructions manual of the "Remote Programmable Antenna Rotator AR500". I bought one at a local 2nd-hand-ham-market but I can't use it without the manual. Has anybody a scan of it ? Or does anybody know a link to download it? I would be very gratefull if I found any help !... more »

Digimode software question

Hello, I would like to get back on the digimodes. In the past Iv used MixW and a few others to work PSK31, Packet, APRS, SSTV. Im running windows vista 64 bit. Im not too sure what will be the best program to use with this OS. Has anyone got any recomendations please? 73 Andy

I've just acquired a couple of Clansman 5.4m masts and, while erecting them doesn't really need instructions, they are so pristine it would be nice to have them "as issued", which I suspect includes a set of "field instructions". (I've some older 27' metal masts with such instructions on a metal plate.)... more »

Speech "scrambler" legality oddity

Just noticed that: Speech scramblers (frequency inverter type) on my GBP15 a pair Tesco PMR446 is legal. Exactly the same as my Wouxun hanheld is not. Both the same, both decodeable by the same freely available PC SOUNDCARD software for nowt. What an OFCOM contradiction.
