One would need to be a "crazy fool" (B.A. BaracusT) to give these do gooding
idiots the time of day.
England seems to now be a hotbed of crazy ideas by politically correct Gurus
who our government seem to applaud and follow for some strange reason. I
could go on but we all know the truth. It's all very depressing.
Emigrating seems a better idea each and every year...

Do it, you know you want to. I did three years ago and it's one of the
best moves I've made. Career opportunities seem to be much better
abroad, and the pay is considerably better too along with far few
stealth taxes and all the PC crap.

Are you really work in America? America is the home of "PC crap" and it is
far more invasive in the work place.

Why shouldn't they?
It works for those who have never lived here.

You're joking.
Pikies no - but from Mexico and all nations to the south - Yes!
In some parts of the States you wonder if English really is the official
language! It a case of Se Hablar Espanol. The Cubans run Miami and the
Mexicans run Southern California.
Just recently I saw a prediction that Spanish will become the predominant
language of the States by 2020.
Tempting.... very tempting :o)

Is it? Why are so many other people migrating to the UK? As much as I like
the USA (and I've spent a fair amount of time there), I don't think I'd like
to live there.

With a VK call I think you really did manage to get as far away as you
could. My parents nearly emigrated in the mid 70's to 'stralia' but they
changed their minds at the 11th hour. Damn them :o)
I didn't think any particular language was defined as being 'official'
in the USA. Is that assumption incorrect?
Why would I want to do that? My health insurance (part of my 'benefits
package') gives faster response with more up-to-date equipment than
anything the NHS can offer! No two year waiting lists here!
Kiwi land is slightly further away from England.

"The English are soft and stupid. They will give me a flat, clothes,
money, and food" - spoken by a potential illegal immigrant camped
outside Cherbourg docks and awaiting a chance to board a lorry bound
for England. The words were recorded by a French journalist, who was
attacked with stones shortly after by the potential illegal immigrants
in the actual illegal camp.

In France you have a national insurance system where you get rebated
up to 99% of your health costs if you're low paid.
Even the well off there can get 30 to 50% rebated
Steve Terry
The rest are economic migrants from bankrupt third world countries like
Poland
