NEWS FOR THE SOUTH EAST & EAST ANGLIA

* Today, the 1st of February, South Essex Amateur Radio Society is holding
its Mobile Radio Rally at The Paddocks, Long Road, Canvey Island, Essex, at
the southernmost extremity of the A130. It opens at 10.30am. You will find
radio, computer and electronics stands, together with home-made
refreshments, free car parking, facilities for the disabled, and trade
stands.

* Next Sunday, the 8th of February, Harwell Amateur Radio Club is holding
its Radio and Computing Rally at Didcot Leisure Centre, Mereland Road,
Didcot, Oxfordshire. It is signposted from the A34, and opens at 10.15am
for disabled visitors, and 10.30 for others. There is a bring-and-buy
stall, refreshments, a licensed bar, trade stands, special interest groups,
facilities for the disabled, and talk-in is provided on 145.550MHz. Car
