Dust down your Snideband gear and have look for GM3HAM/P near Wigtown,
SW Scotland. 70cm, 2m, 4m and 6m.

Sorted it.

Yeah? Woz it 'andshakin?
Jack
Yes, it is here again, but unworkable from this QTH
The local CB club has 3 "ops" on the hills to the north of me all are
overdriving poxy Micky Mouse linears.
They are widebanded over 600kc combined, 2 on 2m and another flitting
about on all 4 lower bands.
Wont listen when anyone tries to help or asks them to turn the drive
down, for example one is using a Trio 9130 on full power (25w) into a
M/M 100ls "linear" designed for a maximum 10w drive for full o/p
You couldnt make it up, shit for brains
I hope it pisses down on them all weekend :)

Nice to make it with GM3HAM/P on two metres. Was it you Brian?
Listened for a long while for you on 70cms but nothing. No other GMs
heard either.
Hope you had a good Field Day.

No I was doing 4m and 6m, glad you made it.

Conditions were not good, and there were struggling to keep 70cms
running, due to lack of operators.
>Hope you had a good Field Day.
Yeh it was good fun. Weather was reasonably kind. We made a tactical
mistake by going to the pub on Saturday and missing the SpE opening to
Portugal on 2m and the Caribbean on 6m. Such is life.
