Has anyone met Pat Hawker MBE (G3VA), the author of a number of books and
technical articles in magazines?

I had the pleasure to work him on CW around 30 years ago.

Has anyone read the book about him "A Bit of Controversy: Pat Hawker - a
Radio Life"?
