So what do you want- a medal? You're supposed to send murderers to
jail. Sheesh.
Absolutely, but not for the poor officers family.
I also note that I beleive he was the first officer killed by a
firearm in eighteen years, and, it was an American that did it!
Typical.
Not that typical, if it only happens every 18 years.
In what way do you see him as a Wolf?
Cheers LJ.
I believe he got a *literal* life sentence.

Would be better to hang them - especially this one!

Yes, typical of a wolf among sheep.
Result ? The brit taxpayer gets to cough 20k a year for
no chance of rehabilitaion and if he ever gets out he
gets deported.
Simon T.
I think it would be better to keep him alive, inside an English
prison.
Actually the first British police officer shot dead since 1995, but
only the fifth in the last 15 years:

Of course, Special Constable Glen Goodman was murdered by
American-funded terrorists, while even Northern Ireland hasn't had any
officers shot dead since 1997.
Yes, the Judge made that ruling on the grounds that while the officer
might have died from his initial injury, anyway, Bieber returned to
"finish him off" when he could easy have escaped at that point.
Wilful ignorance of colloquial British English-usage noted.
Indeed.
A few more years of Blunkett, Blair or even Howard and we might need
efficient cop killers.
A few quid for a strong rope would be better than £20k pa for 40
years... :)

According t0 the Daily Mirror, only the 24th murderer to have been given
a full-life sentence since the death penalty was abolished.

Don't you want to see him suffer for years instead of just a few
minutes?

Why does it have to be 20k? The shitbag will be living far better than
a lot of people in Africa anyway, why do the need to have it so good?
A bare cell and rudimentary necessities should be enough and it would
cut the bill by 50% or more over the 40+ years he has to serve, so why
not?
Clough
It wouldn't cut the bill by remotely 50%. Much of the "cost" of
keeping inmates in prison is down to prison staff wages, maintaining
the prison buildings themselves, etc.
