According to some bloke on Today he was a genius comparable to Mozart
and Beethoven. One learns something new every day.

As a boy he was quite good-looking, so why did he mess about with his

Love him or loath him there is no denying that he was an iconic figure in
the music world. I think when I heard that last night I heard another * I
know where I was when....* moment for many people.
I also suspect that in time he'll be seen living with Elvis, JFK and Marilyn
Monroe and jbexing at the local chippy :-)
