Gloss paint on your hands? Don't wash them in turps, use baby oil instead.
It's a lot kinder to your skin than turps/thinners.

Also, gloss paint on a leather sofa can be treated with a little kitchen
towel dipped in baby oil. Once again, it's kinder to the leather (which is
a skin after all!)

Hi, I used to clean my hands and brushes with baby wipes when I was oil
painting.
