For the first time in 7 months our Pingu has been out in the open air!
A whole host of them were taken to a shopping centre, Pingu in his
wheelchair, and they shopped for Chrissy pressies :-)

He's still progressing forwards and is a lot happier with life even though
he's very tired tonight with all that fresh air!

Keep at it, Pingu :-)

People will forget what you said.
People will forget what you did, but
People will never forget how you made them feel.

Good to hear that Pingu is still progressing well. He will have
enjoyed his "freedom" in the outside world

Great to hear that Pam, I bet he *really* made the most of that trip, even
if it wore him out. It will make Christmas a lot happier for his family
too.

OK, usually it's here on a Thursday but we thought Ray would get it a day
earlier this week to leave Pingu's
family a clear Christmas time.

He's fine, talking away now - all the time, too ;-)

He's got a wheelchair now and runs round in it happily in really good
spirits :-)

His brother is visiting every day now so that's another face for him to see.

And he's now walking a few paces every day with a zimmer frame after his
daily physio - he's been in bed for more than seven months so he's got to
build all his muscles up again.
He's lost a lot of weight so walking will be a little odd for a time :-)

But it's better news, isn't it? Ray wished him a Merry Christmas from all of
you.
