The Prefect by Alastair Reynolds

I was in Exclusive Books last Saturday. For those not familiar with
South Africa. Exclusive Books is the equivalent of Waterstones in the
UK.

Anyway I digress. While there I saw there last copy of The Prefect by
Alastair Reynolds. Having not had time to research the book on the
internet to see if it is anygood. I decided to take a chance and buy
it.

Amazon reviews seem positive. Anyone read it? Did I do right in buying
it or is it a load of tosh. I have to say every Alastair Reynolds book
I have read thus far has not let me down. I hope this trend continues.

I found it readable, but it did leave me, like the last couple of his,
feeling that he is getting a bit repetitive.
