I realise that outside of London I'm unlikely to find an EBM-free,
metal-free goth night, but something that played more than a token amount of
old-school goth would be good.

Eddies in Birmingham appears to be open as usual on Sat 26th December
(10pm - 2am). It has a dedicated goth room ('The Dungeon') where you're
quite likely to hear some Rosetta Stone, Sisters etc thrown in with the
EBM stuff (...especially at X-mas). You'll probably get Slade too...

Thanks Peter.
Quite apart from the matter of Slade *shudder*, there don't seem to be many
trains running on the 25th/26th, so I guess I'd be looking at 27th to 29th.
I'm actually thinking of going away for a few days, so I was looking for a
city that's good to spend time in generally, e.g. Edinburgh. No offence to
our West Midlands friends, but Birmingham isn't quite what I'm after!
Yeah, I know, moon on a stick...
