Carers Allowance.

My wife and I are both disabled. She has had her carers allowance in
respect of me stopped as she is now an OAP and DWP says she cannot
receive a OAP pension and a carers allowance too. Is this correct?

Sorry to hear about that. I don't know the answer, I'm afraid; Citizens'
Advice Bureau would probably know, though there's usually a pretty long
queue to ask them anything, as they've lost some of their funding and are
now more understaffed than ever. A disability charity (whichever one deals
with your particular disabilities) might also know - I have OCD and I've
always found OCDAction a mine of information on rights and rules!

You could ask the rights and advice department of your local council to come
and do a finance review for you and they will give ou all the gen you
require
