Insurance pests..

Has rung me several times a day in the last week. Each time saying I asked
for a quote on some insurance or other. I'm sure its always the same guy,
and he denies he has ever spoken to me. I cannot get a straight answer who
they actually are. Once it was because I filled out a form on a comparison
website, another time it was because I had used them before, then it was
because I asked for a ring back.

Etc. I have on all occasions told them I'm on the telephone pref list and
they seem not to care at all.

Anyone else here getting these calls? The guy sounds like he might be from
somewhere in the Midlands and sometimes a girl is on and acts just stupid
when you tell them to push off.

They always leave their number, so they cannot be that bright I'd say. They
sound like they are ringing from a pub at this end, unless the sounds of
laughter are really going on in a call centre!

Never heard of them. Seems like a dodgy operation to me, either that or they
really are as stupid as they seem to be.

What was that about sitting in front of a screen all day lowers IQ?

Well have sent them a message with my grievances. Any company who buys
contacts should in my reading of things, know the following before they go
ahead inging folk.
Did this person agree to be contacted. Who are we working on behalf of, i.e.
who did we get the details from, and is this person on the telephone pref
list.
They should also realise they have already ring you, three times and be able
to give you their sources to enable you to complain to the source.
None of these were the case with this bunch of idiots!
