On the 12th of this month I ordered an ink cartridge, after the promised 72
hours had passed I emailed sup...@007inks.co.uk on two consecutive days -
both bounced, so I phoned and selected the customer support option where I
got a recorded message stating they don't do customer support over the
phone.

Next I called their sales line to ask what's going on and they told me they
were out of stock and the cartridge would be sent on Monday, now I've waited
another 72 hours from the promised despatch date and still no cartridge.

So I phoned them again today (Th 27) - the person on the phone was vague and
evasive, and in between holding the phone next to his computer monitor so
all I could hear was a loud buzzing, said "maybe middle of next week".

How fortunate I have another printer!

Go to http://www.canyoutrustthem.com/index.php?go=details&id=678 and scroll
down to the bottom of the page, it doesn't make good reading in your case.

Allegedly 007 inks are also trading as ink in a blink so they can con some
customers twice.

When I googled Ink in a blink to compare the address with that for 007 inks,
their link seems to be blocked - there are reviews for Ink in a blink that
look very similar to the one's for 007 inks.

I used 007 inks about 4 months ago and received excellent
service....my order was with me in 24 hours.....i
just placed another order a week ago, and have not heard
boo nor received any goods....i went on line and all their web sites say
that they have been suspended.....hummmmmm
does that mean that i have been suckered???
you can ring up your bank and get your money back though.
the bank makes you wait 6 weeks, but they will eventually
pay you back all your money.
this is the second time this year we have been ripped off.
once when buying a digital camera and now with the ink.
i think perhaps we all should telephone the companies we
wish to buy from before we internet orders.

My order eventually arrived 3 weeks late, it seems they process customers
orders promptly the first time around and only get around to it when they
could be bothered on subsequent orders.

Someone told me the 0844 number was 50p/minute but when my phone bill
arrived for that month the itemised list showed 50p for a call lasting over
3 minutes

Yes I am afraid they were still trading up to the end of last month like you
I placed an order with them on the 29th paid for it and received an email
telling me my order had been dispatched . Still waiting, so like you tried
to contact them but no joy .

Apparently most people seem to get OK service on their first order but if
they go back again things take a bad turn.

Generally speaking if the dispatched email isn't followed by the goods in a
couple of days, 007 inks will blame Royal mail and you can kiss your money
goodbye.

My order eventually turned up over 3 weeks late, but I have commissioned a
new printer in the meanwhile so there's little sense in opening the sealed
packaging on a cartridge I won't need to use for a while. Several people
have complained that their new cartridge was faulty, or in some cases empty.

Last time I checked, the 007 inks website was suspended, so maybe Trading
standards have collected "critical mass" of complaints and taken action.

007inks and Inkinabline have both gone into liquidation and have closed. I
used to use them bu i now use this company who are very competitive and
reliable.
