I've got a load of model railway bits and pieces I'm selling and have used Turbo Lister to create and upload the first batch of listings. Assuming that some items don't sell, I seem to remember from the past the eBay sometimes (always) offer a re listing for free or reduced cost. I see you now have to specify how soon after receiving cleared payment you expect to post your goods. Sorry for a dumb question, but does a day = 24 hours after the payment has been cleared (paypal). I assume for cheques you tell ebay when your cheque has cleared Are there any penalties for saying 2 days? I see this is "the seller... more »

Signing up for a seller account?

I'm sure this used to be much more straightforward , but I've signed up for another account to sell things from work that we no longer need and can't for the life of me see how to convert this into a seller account. If I log in and go to my account details it says "Account type - Private Account"... more »

I have got ready for listing an inner tube for a bicycle, starting at 99p with £1.49 postage Gallery plus is unchecked. Yet I am being charged 90p for fees! I had it listed under pushbike stuff and changed to others but still a 90p charge. I cant seem to find why 90p charge, any ideas. I thought should be a zero... more »

Problem with ebay?

Hi all, last night, Sunday, there seemed to be a problem with ebay. I could not upload auctions or get Turbolister and ebay to synchronise. This morning I can get neither the log in pages of ebay.co.uk or ebay.com to work. Other websites seem fine. Is anyone else experiencing this sort of problem?... more »

When I first set up my eBay account in 1997 the UK site did not exist so I had to register on the US site. My location is shown correctly as UK but emails I receive from ebay i.e watched item ending soon........ xyz has sent a question about item no 123456...... etc assume I am in the USA and, for instance, will show times in PDT / PST.
