A "Where is my item?" appeal from a bloke, six days after it was posted
recorded delivery. He's in Australia.

And neutral feedback left along with a positive comment. Dunno what I
can do about that - no complaints to me, no contact: perhaps he clicked
the wrong button.

Onto the BBL they both go.

Have you tried switching it off and on again?

For the second one try sending him an Ebay message (or phoning him) and if
he will agree to a feedback revision if you file one?

I have alreadyvery politely asked what the problem is.

STARTS
Hi. I've just noticed that you have left me neutral feedback on this
item. I am always trying to improve my game, and as you did not contact
me with a complaint, and left a positive comment, I would be grateful to
know exactly what the problem was. Thanks

We shall see what transpires.

Almost certainly nothing, but good luck.

Personally, I don't think that Neutral feedback should be seen as a bad
thing, though under the current system it is.

If i buy an item, and it turns up adequately packed in a week with minimal
comms from the seller, but is basically as described then that's a fair but
unremarkable transaction deserving of neutral feedback. A 6 or 7 out of ten,
as most purchases are.

If the seller is particularly good for some reason - quick delivery,
packaging, helpful comms - then that could be a positive.

Of course, that's not how eBay are ever going to run it.
