I paid by Paypal, funded by my credit card, if that helps.

I assume Paypal's "buyer protection program" (ha ha) will dutifully
tell me they've tried to recover my funds but were unsuccessful.

Can I simply do a chargeback via my credit card?

How long have you given the seller to deliver the goods? Have you emailed
them or requested their contact info and phoned them (you can still do this
if they are NARU) to enquire as to why Ebay has suspended them?

They're in China and clicking on my winning item simply displays a
"this listing has been removed".

Phone PayPal. If EBay NARUd them, then in theory, PayPal should simply
refund you. But I'd also inform your card company, can't hurt.

As the previous poster asks, how long have you given them to deliver the
item ?

A simple e mail to them asking if the item will be delvered might help!

Have they been removed from ebay or just the item removed ?

They are no longer a registered user.

5933 feedback @ 99.9% as well?

They have feedback right up until 19th Nov, is there a way of finding
out whether eBay have banned them or whether they've just closed their
account?

If you close your account it takes far longer than a day to show up. EBay
have banned them. Call PayPal.

Call ebay customer support and they will refund you, or start a
dispute through paypal and they will refund you.

In theory but it will probably take several months to get a refund if
indeed your card issuer decideds to refund you.

I would not be concerned, that's not the feedback of a scammer.

These chinese sellers are always getting NARUd for listing infringements
(usually advertising a UK location) then opening up new accounts. I would
put money on your item arriving with no problems, just chill out a bit and
stop being so hysterical.

<Nods>

Took me a couple of months when some French scammer on eBay took me for
a few quid.
