URCM Failure

There seems to be something wrong with URCM - a number of posts have been
languishing in the moderation queue for some time now:

Mr Benn 21 hours
Thirty Six 16 hours
True Blue 15 hours

Oh no. Hang on it seems to be partially working OK - a number of
hand-moderated posts have sailed through in the mean time:

Alan Baggins 1 hour
David Damerell 2 hours
Ian Jackson 2 hours

Are there perhaps two separate queues?

Or is it just not fit for purpose

No, I don't think it's ridiculous. It's probably not safe to cycle down a
gradient that steep, or more likely, cyclists will be tempted to travel at
unsafe speeds. If you're travelling at 40mph down a slope and a sheep walks
in front of you, it could be fatal for the cyclist (and probably the sheep).

So as you can see, what I said was really contentious and will require
several moderators to decide between themselves whether or not to allow it.
I expect at least 24 hours and more reasonably a few days before it it
processed.

In fairness, though, it is a bit contentious. You have suggested that
'cyclists' could be travelling at 40mph where sheep could walk into
their path when only 'psycholists' would do that.

Dear me, you must walk very fast! Five miles an hour? When I am on a
country walk (rather than simply transferring my pedestrian presence
from A to B as quickly as possible on level pavements) I tend to do no
more than 2.5 to 3 miles an hour.

The point is that my post was rejected simply because I had said 40mph.
Would it have been accepted if I had said 30mph? Either way, it seems like
a stupid reason to reject a post.
