Off to Havok for the first time tonight, with any luck I'll bump into a
selection of the UMR North-west crew. If you're about, I'll be wearing
plain green combats, a blue t-shirt with a pale band across the chest, am
about 6'2" and have short hair. I'll probably be in the pub downstairs
first at about 9.30, looking for Richard's hat...

Looking forward to it.

You won't see it coz I can't go :-( Life has too many things to do at the
moment I'm afraid. But I'll be at the next one (and, I assure you that you
will be as well - I've never met anyone yet who hasn't gone and fallen in
love with the place!))

Do you ever worry about hyping it up to much, and then people being let
down? I do sometimes, and then I introduce someone new to it, and all my
fears are laid to rest :)

I refer you to my previous rambling and generally effusive account of my
night. And to the fact that you'll need wild horses to drag me away
from future nights.

:)

As I said in a previous post, every so often I worry about over hyping
the place. Then I introduce someone new/meet someone there for the first
time, and all such fears are allayed :)

It's not huge, it's not amazingly decorated (it used to be, but then the
venue changed the rules), there are no stalls or fireworks, or any of
the other extras you might expect if you're used to London. Just solid
music and a solid crowd, in a nice venue with friendly security, and it
makes you realise that that is ALL that's important. Oh, and they give
out fruit near the end :)

I take it you're up for the next one then ?
