Much speculation on DS and elsewhere that this was planned and that she had
only signed up for a week.

Not sure it really matters, but I've always been anti- this kind of
conspiracy-theorising...but now I'm not so sure. Has she just been toying
with us yet again?

I purposely put both ways of referring to the show in the subject line so
that those who are not interested can block the post.

No one really *cares* in the great scheme of things - it's just a chat about
a TV show.

on her next book and caring for her disabled child for a bit.

I think probably so, or at the very least the production company will
have conveniently "forgotten" to write a penalty clause in to her contract.

Regardless I'm glad she's gone. IMO it was simply unfair to bring in a
celeb who had done IACGMOOH before, although I'm sure commercially it
was a canny decision.
