Are you trying to imply that the programme didn't have any facts or
they claimed things that were not true?

Thanks, Martin - the TV documentary itself could've been quite good,
only it was ruined by the plinky-plonky music all the way through.

I read that a long time ago, a quick skim through looks like it forms
the basis of the script of the programme.

Am I missing something?

I wonder what the Kythera mechnism - that this was presumably designed to
defend against - looked like.

The mechnism was found in a shipwreck off the coast of Antikythera,
an island named since it lies opposite to the island of Kythera.

Radio Times say they have received many complaints about this.

The Radio Times used to regularly print letters from people complaining
about the end credits on most programmes being squashed into a corner so
they can trail what's coming next. At the end of the letter would be a reply
along the lines of "Many viewers have made similar complaints" but they
somehow never had room to print the end of the sentence: "...but we're not
going to do anything about it."

They'll just say it's the "agreed house-style" without saying who 'agreed'
it - certainly not the listeners/viewers. Like when I complained that
articles on the website put radio and TV links at the end so I can read
through the whole article before realising that I would rather listen
to/watch the programme.

And I still haven't got a reply about my complaint that most BBC web article
comments sections lack an 'oldest first' option.

I'm not that daft, I knew Hognoxious was kidding since he'd replied to
you citing the Wikipedia article, but I still wanted to make it clear.

Maybe, but at least this shows it wasn't just me who was complaining.
