Broadcast to DVD in 3 days - record ?

Just noticed that "Not Going Out" Season 5 is available on Amazon, from
21st May.

Since the last episode was broadcast terrestrially on 18th May, is this
some kind of record. I still have all the episodes on the TiVo ...

I noticed The Bridge was available in HMV this last Tuesday
(may have been available well before that for all I know)
even though the last two eps only broadcast last Saturday.

but wasnt the last season in HD, shouldnt it be also on blu-ray ?

That's because "Iron Sky" was on release for only one day, so that it
would count as a proper theatrical film, and not straight-to-video.

And then, it did so well on that one day that the cinema release has
been extended, even though the DVD release hasn't been postponed.

If they have any sense, they'll put the DVD on sale in the foyers.
