The boys' chair thingy was actually quite impressive, assuming
Alex really did come up with it on the fly, rather than flat-pack
furniture being the basis of his business plan.

The show also demonstrated that most peoples' idea of how to
run brainstorming sessions is wrong. The girls accepted every
idea. The boys each spent five minutes on their own ideas before
volunteering anything,

Whilst they were pitching their "multipurpose" ideas I was shouting at my
TV, "wouldn't you be better deciding if a funky designed simple product was
better than a poorly designed multifunctional one" first?

But as both teams decided that they should have a multifunctional product
I'm guessing that it was part of the spec. I do wish that they wouldn't
keep these things secret from us
