Hi All,

I have a Sony 25" 4:3 TV, it's the last 4:3 TV we had before we went WS.
Anyway it is currently sitting in the corner of another room but is pretty
useless where it is, with limited viewing. I was considering putting it on
the wall like I do with most portables in the bedrooms etc but the largest
bracket I can find only goes upto a 21" TV. They must do brackets that hold
larger TV's, im sure i've seen them in use in Pubs etc etc. So do they? If
so anyone know where I can get one? And would you recommend them? The other
option is to make a v. large corner shelf 4 it but I would ideally like it
angled down slightly.

All the best.
Mikedmc.

Are you putting it in the corner of the room? If you are why not build a
corner shelf? Triangular piece of plywood (12mm will do) a couple of pieces
of 50 x 25mm batten screwed into the walls, to hold the ply in place. A coat
of paint and the jobs done. Probably cost you no more than £10.00 for the
materials.

Well, you certainly could get them a couple of years back - I got one to
support my 28" 4:3 set.

Think I got it from Argos or B&Q or somewhere like that. Perhaps there is
no demand for brackets that size anymore?

I have a 21" span one here (FS if you want it). IIRC it will hold 75kgs.
You can almost certainly sit a 25" set on top of it, since the horizontal
dimension is only 20" (thank you Pythagorus).
