OT: Sony KV28LS35 28" Widescreen

Anyone in the group got one of these, any good and does it output in
NTSC? I've searched the net but am getting conflicting reports about
this.

Any other recommendations in the same price range (500.00 - 600.00) that
HAS the NTSC facility if the Sony doesn't. Thanks very much.

I have this set....I am not quite sure what you mean by outputting NTSC...it
will accept an NTSC signal..I know that
I am very pleased with my set and I think they were selling them cheap in
COSTCO with a 3yr guarantee thrown in...

Thanks for the reply. My terminology probably isn't correct. What I
wanted to know is if I play an R1 DVD (NTSC) or American VCD will it
play OK on the Sony set if hooked up via the scart? Will it be in
colour? Some old sets don't and the picture is black and white. If you
could let me know I'd be grateful. Thanks very much.

yes it will no probs. u would be better off with the 32" unless its for a
bedroom.
