Just got back from nearly a month in Scotland land and a working
holiday. The weather has ranged from wall to wall sunshine, warm
enough to get the roof off the car to blizzards and temperatures
below freezing all day.
Deciding what to wear each day was difficult. Will it be the furs
and take the dog sled or the fleecy parka and take the hood down.
Roads are great north of the major conurbations and the Great Glen
to Inverness was spectacular.
The stories of all food being fried is not true. Had some great food
all over the Highlands. SOme of the best fish was in Oban and the
best Pizza in Inverness. Fort Bill was just like I expected and Fort
Augustus was shut.
Ben Nevis was tall. The skiing at Aviemore was expensive.
Now back home to the daily grind for the next few months. Need some
cash to bung in the bank and pay for some upcoming expenses.
