FA Cambrensia vintage Welsh Hanes Cymraeg history 1906

Cambrensia by W Jenkyn Thomas ,undated ,but original owners
inscription dates to 1906.Slight wear to extremities,otherwise a very
good copy. 248 pages.

This is a really lovely old history of Wales ,highlighting a number of
crucial events in the formation of the country,battles ,Welsh war
song, Welsh Arthurian history ,some of Twm Sion Catti's pranks, lives
of the Princes etc. Unlike more formalated histories this one makes
for a very readable book,and is unusually (for that period) strident
in its Welsh nationalist leanings.
