prize earlier in the summer.

I know about Sarah. I was there defending her when she first posted
and there was a misunderstanding about the involuntary pop-ups with
the web site hosting.
She does architecture. I want a portrait specialist, as I specified.

I simply suggested Sarah as someone who does pencil portraits, and it seems
to have turned into something personal against Sarah (who hasn't helped
herself much, admittedly - but I can see where she's coming from!)
Some art you like, some you don't - can't we just leave it at that and not
get into a big name calling session.

I have a web site that specialises in creative arts, such as music, poetry
and graphic design. Some is my own work, some is not. Naturally, in the
three years I've published my own works on the Internet, I have received
some extremely cutting remarks, some of which I personally thought were
grossly unfair. However, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
To be honest I'd much rather that people were honest than not. If people
aren't 100% impressed with my work then that's fine by me. Many of those
people give me suggestions for improving what I do. But if someone really
tells me that they are extremely dissatisfied, well, that's life. You learn
to take the criticism and you thank those who help you, but there is no
benefit in arguing with people who simply can't stand your work.
As I often say, if you don't like it, I'm not forcing you to look at it! :)

I don't know you or your work, but I wish you every success in it, as I do
Sarah.

Could you post the URL please?
Cheers
B.
Sorry, haven't checked back for a few days - URL is http://www.bbarden.com
for the main site, my poetry can be found under "coliseum ice" and "colour
dreams" (click the links halfway down the page).
Site design is all my own :) and if you wish to comment, go right ahead - I
haven't hadn't much feedback lately.
Cheers
