Read in the news that Manchester has one of the lowest average life
expectancies in the country! Not good, Britain the fattest country in
Europe too?!?! Time we started sorting our act out, everyone ignores
all the signs until one day your lay on your death bed wishing you'd
done more when you where younger! I think I need to sort my act out
myself, 25 and definitly in need of a rain check! Sort out my diet and
start excercising more.

I know we could get knoked over by a bus tomorrow, or die in a plane
crash on my way to spain next week! But I'll take the risk of spnding
my precious time on a few tough training sessions and try to increase
my chances!!!!

Yours and everyone's future is what you make it, the opertunity is
there for EVERYONE to make enough money to not have to rely on the
future of this countries state pension.

Anyone who is hoping that when they hit 70 there home free with
government funding is kidding themselves.

Live a healthy and smart life now, and your final days will be
enjoyable! Providing you don't get hit by train, bus or car before your
50!!! :)

No it isn't.

I'm well over 50 and have been hit by cars a few times, usually when
my wife is at the wheel. What does that mean?

His statement was so glaringly untrue that I didn't feel much
actual explanation was needed. You only have to think for 10
seconds to come up with several groups that cannot go out and
make money "just like that"

Money isn't made just like that! I know a few people that have come
from nothing and with alot of hard work have created a secure future
for themselves, their families and their families infront of them.

Sitting feeling sorry for yourself and classing yourself in the
'several groups' isn't acceptable! The chance is out there if you
choose to go find it...

What that has to do with my response I don't know, but if you are worried
about global warming.........

Why then advertise for cheap flights, which are contributing more than most
things to global warming?

To be honest I think we might be the lucky ones. Whats the point of
having a longer life in the UK and in particular, Manchester? Sure its
ok if your very wealthy but if your an ordinary person, whats going
for you? A life of drudgery, work, living surrounded by filth ,chavs
and crime? If there is no hope of escape then give me an early death
anyday.

And I know a few who haven't, despite working their guts out
for years. Anecdotal evidence is worth zilch.

Not for *everybody*, the original claim. Try being born with
spina bifida, maybe, or succumbing to schizophrenia, perhaps.
Etc Etc.
