I was once told by a Prison Officer that those who hurt children (esp. sex
offenders) come in for a very rough time inside.

It is hard to say that isn't justice.

up here, in scotland, they go straight to Segggy (segregation units) for
their own protection, they had a court case to allow them out into general
population, a few years ago, it was abandonded after a week.

There is nothing in that report that suggested the cause of the assault was
due to the leniency of the sentence. Moreover, its due to obtaining street
cred or getting a reward such as cocaine.

Have you heard about the story of a prisoner complaining to the authorities
that the prison website had no Welsh version ? They had to spend about 100
grand to get a Welsh version of the website up and running.
