I'm looking for recommendations (or otherwise) for a Landscape
Gardener to do some work in Sherborne St. John. I want a couple of
low level walls building, a patio extending and a base for a garden
shed building.

I'm looking for someone who is going to do a quality job without
ripping me off. I'd also prefer the job not to drag on for months
while they work on 15 other projects!

Being new to gardens (and not too much inclined towards them) I'd like
some low maintenance shubs, etc. Am I better off going to a garden
centre and buying them myself or getting the gardener to plant them as
part of the job?

I used Cottismore Landscapes in Kingsclere (01635) 298368
to do a job like this for me last year. They were pricey, but did
good work and were reliable. They also planted up some beds
for me, and chose nice shrubs. The only complaint I have was
that they tended to over-plant : the beds are a little bit
overcrowded, now that the plants are into their second
year of growth. If I was a cynic, I'd say they deliberately sold
me too many plants and I should have known better....

Anyway, HTH

Mike H. (still looking for a reliable gardener!)
