Hey! I'm here, decided to have a night off last night, Sunday I went to
see Million Dead http://www.milliondead.com at the Brickyard (Old Richmond
Memorial Hall) in Carlisle, it was ace! Met the singer who dedicated a
song to me (called Charlie and the Propaganda Myth Machine) and said he
would put me on the guestlist for the gig in Liverpool on May Day Bank
Holiday!!!!!

Agreed. You could end up compromising your political ambitions and
that would be a bummer.

An audience of 50, was it? They're always glad to welcome you backstage when
they can fit the entire audience into their dressing room..........
(I know. It happened to me and my pal when we were 14.)

You know how these show biz types are Barry. They have to get ahead or
they'll get behind. He's after your body.

Nah about 100 I'd say, but I didn't go backstage I just chatted to him on
the floor, but the singer is such a nice bloke is very willing to give up
his spare time, plus he his having to tour while he is on Easter holidays
from Uni and is having to write his dissertation on the road!

I don't think so!!! Anyway, they have a female bassist,
Australian......very, very nice looking! All the male MD fans are in love
with her!

Hehe! Why do people call chatting to the singer from your fave band being
a groupie? They are nice people, the guitarist got hit by a bus cycling
through London the other week, I was just asking him how he was too.

They also played in Texas a few weeks ago at the South by Southwest Music
Convention, don't know if any of you know about it?

They are a very politcaly influenced band, although the singer hates to
admit it, but the lyrics definately have a political/historical edge to
them

Sorry to keep going on about this, but I will anyway, they are all having
to work jobs at the same time as doing this as their previous record deal
has expired so they are having to pay for everything at the moment. I know
the drummer is a painter/decorator in his spare time and has to sleep on
his dad's floor when he goes home and the guitarist worked in a record
distribution factory, but lost his job a couple of weeks ago due
constantly being on tour

It's meant to be great, about 1,000 or more bands play in dozens of venues
throughout the week, I'd love to go one time
