Our guests at SSFC this Sunday, May the 3rd, will be The House Sisters,
three excellent musicians from Northumberland/the Borders/Scotland
(approximately).

Find out more by googling
http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=the+house+sisters&meta=&aq=f&oq=

and

If you want to be in the really comfy seats it might be a good idea to come
reasonably early. The doors are open at 7.30pm.

Cheers,

When I was in Northumberland several years ago, I could only understand a
little of what the people were saying. Was there something wrong with my
ears?

:-) Probably not!

The accent (there are several localised variations) can be a bit strong
sometimes.

"English" is, apparently, an amalgam of dialects with similar grammatical
rules. Newcastle was no exception.
The only constant is the alphabet.
