I signed on as unemployed about 5 weeks ago and when checking up on what
was happening with the claim I was told that the Benefits Agency wanted to
do a home visit although I am still waiting to hear from them.
As far as I am concerned this should be a straight forward application
so I am concerned why they are going to this length. Can anybody give me any
advice on what this is likely to be about, what are they looking for, what
can they ask or see and what are my rights?

Thanks

Kevin

It is a simple anti-fraud measure, designed to protect the public. Nothing
to worry about.

...unless you have something to hide. Also note the background situation
where the whole world is suddenly moving to the UK and some of these people
are cheating our system and actually using our benefits to produce poisons
to use against us.

I know being an unemployed English caucasian male is the lowest form of life
in this country today, but just try to cooperate with the system and you
should be fine.

Maybe it`s time we caucasian unemployed males try to seek economic
asylum in other countries :-}

Your name came out of the draw and you are a lucky winner :)

Unless you have something to hide there will be no problem. As to
their rights, they have none, but then they can take away your benefit
until you prove you are entitled.

Welcome them, answer all their questions honestly, and you will have
no problem.

Nah! Spike Milligan reckoned he knew a bloke who saw one of those
"Australia for just £10" offers. When he got it home he couldn't fit it
in the flat!
