New Labour - This is The Real Picture - The Police Just Dance To Their
Tune
Uk piggies are becoming more and more like the stasi every
day................they operate outside of the law, and are quite
happy to dance implement politically motivated policies on the part of
a totally corrupt government............
Anyone got an eye out for the first photo-touristpaediatrician of the
year?
I don't know what annoys me more, the way the police act or the false
apologies afterwards.
The question still remains: In a public place, can the police legally
prevent you from taking photographs of ANYONE, including the Royals
(provided, of course, you are not breaking any 'other' laws when you are
doing it).

And the answer is clearly "YES" they can prevent us from doing so, by means
of intimidation & threats of arrest.
We all know that no charge will ever reach a court, but they're counting on
most of us being deterred by the thought of a lengthy detention in the
cells, DNA profiling and subsequent stigma. Unfortunately it usually
works.
The simple answer is yes. Using the pretext that your behaviour COULD be
interpreted as breaking other laws, eg. harrasment, disorderly conduct, bop
etc. a constable CAN prevent you from doing ANY act that would otherwise be
lawful, backed up by the threat of arrest for non-compliance, even if he
knows there isn't a cat in hell's chance of making such an allegation stick.
You can of course challenge his actions at a later date (possibly months
later), however the bottom line is that he can prevent you AT THE TIME from
doing something he doesn't want you to do, and there is nothing (legally)
you can do about it.

The problem is that New Labour always remains silent when the public
are abused by police. Even Straws recent criticism of lazy police was
unusual for a high ranking Labour voice.
Turk182
Straw has nothing to lose. He knows he's part of a dying Government and
he has something he wants to get off his chest.
If the policeman is confiscating everyone's (not just one person's)
cameras then surely this is 'behaviour likely to cause a breach of the
peace' so he should arrest himself.
You are just another Nazi fuck who wants return the UK to the Nazi
Tory Party
It will never happen.
That's when the CS gas and the water cannons will be used.
But surely they will be better than the present Nazi Labour Party?
