Webmeeters.net is the first site to allow creation of global web
worker Teams, working collaboratively over the Internet. It also
allows the Funding of such groups by a large group of people, who take
the place of a Venture Capital organisation (and of course, investors
are welcome to the site as well! :) . Please come and check it out,
we're currently running ads for the new .biz and .pro domain names
which have just been released - no better use than for your newly
formed "Company". No matter what your AGE, your sex, which part of the
world you live in - come on over and check it out!

Thanks,

The Webmaster of Webmeeters.

Nothing about it makes any sense.....the name, the concept -- all of it.
And I don't think it's a bad idea -- it's just not presented well.

I think I meet one of their representatives at an open house for the Chamber
of Commerce. It was basically a LaTip group. Referral exchanges.
Hobnobbing. Only it was completely online. They set up a web site devoted
to each group and then had scheduled chat sessions. I can't see how
successful that group would be, especially compared to face to face contact
and the ability to push, I mean hand out business cards and whatever other
collateral materials you wanted to.
