This international Marine Electronics company are looking for a
Systems Engineer to strengthen the experienced systems engineering
team and work within the section responsible for the production of
bids and proposals and the implementation of offered solutions. You
will provide support to the existing team based on your technical
knowledge/skills. You will also be expected to project manage or
programme manage, according to the nature of the task and be prepared
to work on both commercial and military projects. Some domestic and
overseas travel may be involved in this position. You candidate must
be able to work within a team or in an unsupervised position.
For this leading role you should have a 2:1 or better degree in
electrical/electronic engineering or in another related discipline; A
minimum of 5 years' experience in a related discipline, preferably in
the marine electronics industry; Experience in VTS and Naval Radar
Systems - design and implementation; Capable of project managing
customer funded Naval/VTS projects; and Good presentation skills and
the ability to write bid/proposal documents to a high standard.
